I'm currently working as an Assistant Professor at Keshav Mahavidyalaya, Delhi. I completed my graduation from Union Christian College (Kerala), post-graduation from University of Hyderabad (Hyderabad), and Ph.D. from University of Delhi (Delhi). My research interests are in Mathematical Analysis, especially in Functional Analysis > Operator Algebras > Operator Spaces.
"Like teachers, like students". I believe that the biggest achievement that I have secured as a student is that I had the opportunity to learn higher math from some of the highly talented excellent teachers in India, few of them have even dedicated their life to teaching. The following is a shortened list (in alphabetical order), of those who have influenced me through their way of teaching and the things that they have taught me (from PG onwards).
S. Ilangovan, University of Hyderabad.
R. Jain, University of Delhi.
A. N. Joshua, U. C. College.
V. Kannan, University of Hyderabad.
S. Kesavan, IMSc.
A. Kumar, University of Delhi.
S. Kumar, University of Hyderabad.
S. Kumaresan, University of Hyderabad & the MTTS Programme.
T. K. S. Moothathu, University of Hyderabad.
B. V. Rao, CMI.
V. Ravichandran, University of Delhi.
P. Sankaran, IMSc.
S. Sundar, CMI.
S. Vishwanath, IMSc.
Each of them has a unique teaching style, which is best/maximal (if somehow we succeed in defining a partial order depending on the quality of teaching). But, I do not want to completely imitate a particular one. In fact, I am planning to develop a teaching style of my own inspired by the best parts of the methodologies used by each of them. And, I hope that I will be ready with that in less than 10 years! (It is 2019 when I'm writing this!).
